These stone pillars are on all peaks in all of Norway, they were used in the old days as communication points, you could burn fires on these places, these fires signals notified of war, disease or other events. these signals could be seen over large areas across the country.
In this there is a box with a book, you can write your name and date when you've been here.

My name is Birger Andre Ruud.
I am a self taught photographer from Northern Norway
who likes to stretch my own skills.
I have been working actively with photography since the winter of 2008,
when I bought my first DSLR camera a Nikon D300.
It is mostly Landscape photography I like to work with,
